Overview

This equipment enables both axial and radial runout detection of wheel rims. To meet the required inspection cycle, the clamping, lifting, and pressing mechanisms all employ pneumatic actuators, thereby achieving rapid clamping and positioning of automotive wheel rims.

The workpiece arrives from the preceding process and is conveyed to its designated position. Upon detection of the workpiece by the sensing switch, the clamping mechanism moves it beneath the inspection station. The lifting‑and‑clamping unit then raises and secures the workpiece in place, while the pressing mechanism firmly holds it down. A servo motor drives the workpiece to rotate, and the inspection system performs its checks. Once inspection is complete, conforming parts are conveyed to the next operation via the transfer mechanism, whereas nonconforming parts are sorted out by the downstream sorting unit.

This equipment achieves process automation and visualization of test data, thereby stabilizing output, improving quality, reducing consumption, and delivering high efficiency and practicality.

Introduction to the Equipment Structure

The device comprises four major subsystems: the control system, the feeding system, the inspection system, and the sorting system. It is primarily composed of a conveyor mechanism, a clamping mechanism, a lifting‑rotating mechanism, a pressing mechanism, an inspection unit, and a sorting mechanism, among others.

The system enables the automatic feeding mechanism to be integrated with the production line. The equipment automatically conveys workpieces to designated stations, where a clamping mechanism secures them and transports them to the inspection area. A lifting mechanism then positions and aligns the workpiece, raising it, while a pressing mechanism firmly holds it in place. Subsequently, a lifting‑rotating assembly drives the workpiece to rotate, and an on‑line inspection device performs real-time quality checks.
